Hi
Have you had a problem with the Hyper-V console like this?
Check it the WmiPrvSE.exe process.
Kill it, and you can see the VM in the console again

hi
Sometimes if you:
a) copy a VM from a host to another
b) Hype-V R2, the Network Adapters vanish
c) Other problems with the NICs.

HI
We have a Hyper-V R2 Cluster with CSV.
We move a VM with the SCVMM R2 program.
I got an error
I dont like to re-run the job.
I use this link to hide the job in the VMM database.
http://fawzi.wordpress.com/2009/10/28/remove-failed-jobs-from-vmm-console/
Summary:
SELECT * dbo.tbl_TR_TaskTrail WHERE TaskState = ‘Failed’
I look the TaskID from the date
SELECT * dbo.tbl_TR_TaskTrail WHERE TaskID = ‘93dfa873c7af8e’
UPDATE tbl_TR_TaskTrail SET IsVisible = 0 WHERE TaskID = ‘93dfa873c7af8e’
After this sQL statement
I went to SCVMM R2 and I repaired the VM and the error disapear

Hi
We have a Windows 2008 Hyper-V Cluster.
The CPU is very high.
The HealthService is the guilty.
The SCOM is the service with the problem
All MP are updates.
I follow this links:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/935896/en-us
I did this link:
http://www.systemcentercentral.com/BlogDetails/tabid/143/IndexID/26999/Default.aspx
REsume:
Go to the the Heath Service Store
C:\Program Files\System Center Operations Manager 2007\Health Service State\Health Service Store
Delete all in it ( will not be able to delete the files when the Health Service is running
Then start the HealthService again and the Cache is cleared.
And the problem is solved

hi
I would like to share some Enterprise Architecture Definitios (EA).
The purpose of EA is to identify and describe the enterprise-story, and help enhance effectiveness to keep the organisation 'on track' to that story.
(Tom Graves)
EA provides Technology roadmap align with Business objectives and service mapping;
Information, data warehouse, platforms, and business process tools.
(Sami Sheikh)
Zero and One.
The rest are derivatives.
(Grant Morgan Czerepak)
EA is the de-risking window on business decisions. (K V Ramesh)
Organize an enterprise to efficiently accomplish it’s mission and provide a roadmap showing where it is headed and how it will get there. (Mark REynolds)
You are not building a box (structure); you are building a system (architecture) - a system for more effectively planning and coordinating enterprise initiatives. (Kirk Rheinlander)
Purpose of EA is to define principles, standards, framework that enables IT to be agile to enterprise goals & its customer needs (Mohandas Shenoy)
Organize business processes and supporting IT assets(app and infra) to support business objectives (both current and evolving) by providing secure and timely delivery of information to contributing stakeholders.(Aljo Johnson)
The ability to identify and prioritize the changes/projects required to achieve the business to-be model from the current as-is business model.
(Greg Jones)
EA is about maintaining a map of where the IT org is and where we are headed. The chosen path is selected by combining business strategy, IT strategy and IT capabilities. (Randall Roberts)
To make change relevant and better! (Hugh Faulkner)
