Look at this picture
We have 35 VM in a Blade.
We setup CSV
We have a hardware blade crash
Now, We need to remove the machine from the cSV cluster to start. Always give us this error.
After, we remove the machine from the CSV cluster, the VM starts, but I have 2 VM , each node have the machine, although only one starts.

If you encounter the above behavior or error messages, suggest first reset secure channel. On the computer that are experiencing this issue, disable the Kerberos Key Distribution Center service (KDC) and then restart the computer. After the computer restarts, use the Netdom utility to reset the secure channels between the computer and the PDC Emulator operations master role holder. To do so, run the following command from the computer other than the PDC Emulator operations master role holder:
netdom resetpwd /server:server_name /userd:domain_name\administrator /passwordd:administrator_password
Where server_name is the name of the server that is the PDC Emulator operations master role holder.
Note: This method only works for DC. If it’s member server, we have to disjoin and rejoin domain.

Hi
Close the folder or file and try again, and I can’t delete the old VM in Hyper-V.
That is, You delete a VM from Hyper-V MMC.
If you reboot the server, you can delete the file or folder.
But, sometimes you can’t reboot the server.
SOLUTION:
you need to restart these 3 services:
Not problem, the VM runs without problem. Restart the services without fear ![]()

hi
I removed 2 WS08 from AD, but not from Data Protection Manager 2010.
I need to remove it.
http://portal.sivarajan.com/2009/12/remove-orphaned-dpm-agent-from-dpm.html
If you are using DPM 2010. Then please the following 1. open DPM Management Shell. 2. run ".\Remove-ProductionServer.ps1 <dpmservername> <server FQDN>
I had a problem with the server.
I used de Netbios name, and The server didn’t disappear.
I used de DNS name and the server disappeared

hi
Do you need to install de Data Protection Manager 2010 manually?
You need to get the DPMAgentInstaller_X64.exe or x86 from DVD.
And you need to write: DpmAngetInstaller My_DPM_sErver_name. See the following picture
But, if you have the agent installed, but in the MMC the server doesn’t appear, you can register again:
SetDpmServer.exe –dpmServerName My_DPM_Server_Name from the client server.
I hope, This liks will be usefull

hi
Hi everyone
Infrastructure:
2x HP Blade BL460 G6 24G = Host Cluster
iSCSI LeftHand P 4000. Version 8.1
Several Guest cluster in Windows Server 2008 R2 with CSV
I have 8 Guest Cluster Server (2 or 3 Node per guest cluster) inside the iSCSI LeftHand
With DPM 2007 agent, I could move any group without problem.
With DPM 2010 agent, When I move a cluster group, the disk is always “online pending” and after 8-10-12 minutes the disk fail. And the cluster is down.
The video explanation in the link:
http://www.shareview.us/video/4351/DPM-2010--VM—Cluster
Any idea?
