APP-V. Error 25109. Data Store error

I got these error

If you install the product several times over the same sQL server.

You need to delete de DB (APPVIRT) and the login user (with the computer name)

Now, you can install the product without problems.

We ran into this today on and found a way around it. We think this was the cause of the problem:

We had previously had a 4.5 server, running in a VM, that we trashed - removed from domain - deleted....

We built a new VM but used the same name as the original server.

Every attempt to install the 4.5 Management Server on this new VM failed with the 25109 error.

We got it to work after finding that the SQL server had retained the machine account for the original server (which was the server name with a $ appended to it) - remember this was the same name as the new server. There must be a GUID or SID associated with the old machine. I'm not a SQL guru, so maybe someone can confirm this.

After we deleted the referneces to this machine name from the SQL server and tried installing the Management Server on our server VM, everything worked perfectly.

Has anyone else seen this before?

Service Manager Authoring Tool. Language Error

We have SCSM in Spanish.

My Windows 7 is in English.

The SCSM console and the authoring tool runs in English.

But sometime, I got errors.

some problems to install the SCSM, because our SQL is in English and SCSM in Spanish.

Now , We have both in Spanish, and the installation was well.

Merge Hyper-V files. Merging .avhd and .vhd files

We had a big VM

I remove applications and Hyper-V did the merging process with all files by itself.

VDI, Hyper-V R2 with CSV, VMMR2 and strange things

We have Citrix XenDeskTop 4 and VDI with Hyper-V R2.

We have some VDI with CSV. We removed a VDI from the cluster.

The VMMR2 and Citrix had a problem. The hyper-V R2 didt remove the machine well and I can see the VM in both nodes. So Citrix show me 2 VM (the same VM) in the Citrix Menu. So We had a problem.

Citrix XenDesktop – hype-V R2. FOr example We had 2 wxp377CARTV in this menu.

The XenDesktop 4 read data from VMMR2. And We had problems. Look the pictures

So, I spent some time refreshing data, deleting old machines, rebooting and finally, I had a clean VMMR2. So the problems were fixed.

SharePoint, ans Suspect SQL Database

I have a SharePoint Foundation 2010

The Share_Admin DDBB was in suspect mode.

We did:

ALTER DATABASE SharePoint_Config SET EMERGENCY
GO
ALTER DATABASE SharePoint_Config SET SINGLE_USER
WITH ROLLBACK IMMEDIATE
GO
DBCC CHECKDB (SharePoint_Config, REPAIR_ALLOW_DATA_LOSS)
GO
ALTER DATABASE SharePoint_Config SET MULTI_USER
GO

Now , we cand admin the SPF 2010 without problems.
