I remove applications and Hyper-V did the merging process with all files by itself.

VDI, Hyper-V R2 with CSV, VMMR2 and strange things

Hi

We have Citrix XenDeskTop 4 and VDI with Hyper-V R2.

We have some VDI with CSV. We removed a VDI from the cluster.

The VMMR2 and Citrix had a problem. The hyper-V R2 didt remove the machine well and I can see the VM in both nodes. So Citrix show me 2 VM (the same VM) in the Citrix Menu. So We had a problem.

Citrix XenDesktop – hype-V R2. FOr example We had 2 wxp377CARTV in this menu.

 

The XenDesktop 4 read data from VMMR2. And We had problems. Look the pictures

 

So, I spent some time refreshing data, deleting old machines, rebooting and finally, I had a clean VMMR2. So the problems were fixed.

The Share_Admin DDBB was in suspect mode.

We did:

Now , we cand admin the SPF 2010 without problems.

We have a hardware blade crash

Now, We need to remove the machine from the cSV cluster to start. Always give us this error.

After, we remove the machine from the CSV cluster, the VM starts, but I have 2 VM , each node have the machine, although only one starts.

iSCSI LeftHand P 4000. Version 8.1

Several Guest cluster in Windows Server 2008 R2 with CSV

I have 8 Guest Cluster Server (2 or 3 Node per guest cluster) inside the iSCSI LeftHand

With DPM 2007 agent, I could move any group without problem.

With DPM 2010 agent, When I move a cluster group, the disk is always “online pending” and after 8-10-12 minutes the disk fail. And the cluster is down.

I am installing a W 2008 SP2 x86

Why x86. It is for a Printer cluster. I have another in x64, but the printer drivers don’t work well.

Many companies doesn’t deploy in x64 yet.

In this x86 cluster, I got the error

I have many servers in English.

These servers are in Spanish for techical problems.

The wizard gave the 0x80073712 error.

After upgrade through windows update, and to install .NET 3.5.1 SP1. Everything went well.

We installed DPM 2010 to save VM in CSV disk.

NOTE:

· For a clustered or non-clustered computer running Windows Server 2008 R2 with Hyper-V, apply the hotfix described in Knowledge Base article 975354: A Hyper-V update rollup package is available for a computer that is running Windows Server 2008 R2 (http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=186556).
